school edition : stunning stripes

the weather seems to be holding up its hotness, and is surely making us sweat even in our hour of english class... Truth has it that we love our short days, but we also love our maxi dresses. Maxi's are stunning dresses that have just boomed the fashion world, and our world. Liz strutted down the hallways in her stunning striped maxi dress. This dress was very fitting and basic, so with that she added her monogram necklace and her gorgeous diamond stud earrings and wore her hair down. two words for this outfit:

spring is most certainly here, with the birds chirping, the flowers blooming, the college choices being made, and the fashion trends starting up again. we can see spring everywhere, through tweets, through the colors and even through our teacher's lessons. this year two of the biggest spring color trends are bold and pastels. Helen showed us that anyone can rock the pastel trend, all you need is the right outfit and the perfect accessories. Helen had on a beautiful purple pastel shirt, matched it with printed shorts and a bold blue necklace.

Frenzy for flip flops

Spring has sprung, meaning that it is time to ditch the boots and start wearing flip flops! Although it is not quite beach weather yet, the weather is getting warmer, allowing us to bring out the flip flops. Whenever I get an excuse to wear flip flops I'll take it, so for the rest of the spring, I will most definitely be wearing my flip flops! Here are my favorite pairs!

the first look we have here is similar to what georgia would wear on a night out with the gals, or perhaps to run to the mall with some friends, or to wear to a summer carnival. georgia says: i will admit, on my lazy days i love yoga pants and a cute tee, but when it comes time for friday night its time to dress up. Pink is my favorite color, so in this outfit i love how we included some feather earrings and the pink glaze tote.

this look is very different than the first one, probably because this is what lindsey would wear on a spring or summer's night. lindsey says: mint green jeans are my new must haves. I feel like i can pair them with anything, heels, shirts & blouses, but what i love about this outfit is that its so chic and cute! The shoes are a must, love those to death. the opal ring (which i own) is perfect in every which way. the heart sunglasses have been on my wanted list for like ever.

oh my mary! this outfit is on the top and off the hook. this is out of mary's realm but is still a chic look that is fitting for her! mary says: oh my goodness i love this outfit, it is beyond belief. an upward trend this spring is the high low skirt, another one is the color yellow, so it was a must to add this to my outfit. I love the phone case as well, but i will admit that normally i am a kate spade girl, this marc jacobs case is amazing! the earrings and the necklace also complement each other and look stunning off and on, but preferably on!

alanna's look is different than all the looks put together. alanna has more of an edgy style that is also boho chic! alanna says: this outfit is perfect and is something that I would wear on the weekend hanging out or going shopping, maybe even a night out with the gals. printed jeans have been a huge fave of mine for awhile now, and i love to pair jeans with a cute cropped top, elongating my torso. another one of my favorite things is the diy studded phone case, i can't wait to make it for myself. as for shoes, i love to throw on my favorite jeffrey cambell lita's, they're fierce head-turners.

god karen why are you so fashionable? this outfit is soo cute and is surprisingly the only one that contains shorts. karen says: the top is really what sold the outfit to me. if i could i would totally wear this in a heartbeat, the shoes are awesome, even though im more of a nike sneaker girl, i like the bright yellow keds. i also love ripped shorts for the summer, it is so stylish and adds depth to my outfit.

kendra's outfit is definitely our fave. we love the cute boho chic look that is presented, and we also love the colors that is in the outfit. kendra says: the shirt is perfect, it is something that i would defenetly wear. i also love the bracelet and the phone case (it is a nock-off missoni) i  think the shoes are cute too
