some of the most trending has tags on instagram have to be #armcandy or #armparty . these photo's are amazing and very chic. we love that now girls don't have to just put on one nice dangly bracelet or cuff and call it a night. now they can... wait for it... stack them!! we love the idea of mixing colors, mixing widths and showing variations of bracelets ate once. but the thing that we love the most would have to be the core of the arm candy and that would be the watches. watches are a huge statement piece to anyone, today there are endless choices of what watch to select, and sometimes you can even custom make them. well below are some of our favorite arm candy pictures from instagram, enjoy!! xx

back to school hairstyles

every girl might be dreading going back to hit the books, but personally blondie and i are craving the college feel, from dorms to books to fashion. in our old school we had our outfits picked out everyday and most days they matched, yeah, we wore uniforms so now we are entering a world of freedom (but to the max). one thing we did have control over last year was the way we styled our hair. now i am not going to be the first to say i had perfect hair everyday because i didn't 2to3/5th of the week i pulled out my messy bun (but classed it up with a headband) but i did enjoy the occasional curls, fishtail braid, and half up half down look. here are some of our favorite celebs rocking some fabulous back to school easy hairstyles. linked below are some of our favorite youtube guru's tutorials for some of these hairstyles but with their own twist to it. xx

falls almost here, and we aren't wine(ing)

summer favorites: sheer oxford

this summer, my go-to top for hmm well basically anything has been the fabulous sheer oxford shirts. i have gotten a lot of these throughout the spring and summer in multiple colors and can not wait to trend them around my college campus! i think every girl, of all shapes and sizes must put this in their cart next time they shop in H&M, Forever21, Target or really anywhere! I like to pair this type of shirt with a bandu bra, some slick skinny jeans (either dark wash or acid wash), some compfy shoes and a fabulous bag, or trendy necklace! you can style this shirt many ways, preppy or formal, lazy or casual, slick or hipser. xx 

college prepin: brunette's dorm

so for the brunette college is just about 17 days away. scary, right? well dorm shopping has been on the top of her list for the past week, and upcomming remaining three weeks! now normally i am a sea shore color sceme girl (my room is turquoise and my room has many sea paintings in it) but now in college im transitioning into the tropical pinks and oranges! most of my bedding is from pbteen and some of it is from good old target. i really loved shopping at pbteen, the options you have to create your own bed and style is amazing and is so very helpful! to the right is a picture of what my bed is going to look like, only an extra long twin, not a queen haha! my bedding is Portofino Duvet Cover & Pillowcases and was about $100 for the dovet cover and for the 2 pillow cases (not too bad...) my sheets PBteen Classic Organic Sheet Set are just your basic everyday white cotton sheets, this also comes with two pillow cases (yes i have four maybe six pillows...) haha. my decorative pillow Create Yourself Organic Pillow Cover is one of my favorite favorites ever! i also have one from target Room Essentials™ Cream Flokati Pillow - 18"x18" and i totes adore this one as well!!

team spirit : olympic style

while some of us back in NY are laying out on the beach, hitting the city for some lunch, going to the malls to shop, or even chillin by the pool miss charlotte is over in London for the 2O12 olympics! she says she is having a ton of fun and is enjoying every moment of it!! we snagged a few photo's from her at the olympics! we hope she is having a ball. oh and say hi to michael phelps and ryan lochte for us. haha xx lindsey & mary

JACKIE ALSO STARTED THE CAREER OF THE LATE  HAT MAKER/AMERICAN DESIGNER, HALSTON. HER FASHION INFLUENCES CLASSY YET TRENDY  DESIGNERS TODAY, INCLUDING CHANEL! THE ICON'S LIFE HAS AN IMPACT ON TODAY'S DAY AND AGE DUE TO THE VINTAGE FASHION MOVEMENT WHICH INCLUDES CELEBRITIES LIKE LANA DEL REY AND KATIE HOLMES.

blonde and brunette is now back featuring their classic ootd and to bring it all back  are two good friends of the brunette's: emily and emmalisa. both of these girls have fabulous and daring fashion sense, one that i really admire! i really enjoyed meeting them this summer and working on the show once on this island with them! xx
