Frenzy for flip flops

Spring has sprung, meaning that it is time to ditch the boots and start wearing flip flops! Although it is not quite beach weather yet, the weather is getting warmer, allowing us to bring out the flip flops. Whenever I get an excuse to wear flip flops I'll take it, so for the rest of the spring, I will most definitely be wearing my flip flops! Here are my favorite pairs!

the first look we have here is similar to what georgia would wear on a night out with the gals, or perhaps to run to the mall with some friends, or to wear to a summer carnival. georgia says: i will admit, on my lazy days i love yoga pants and a cute tee, but when it comes time for friday night its time to dress up. Pink is my favorite color, so in this outfit i love how we included some feather earrings and the pink glaze tote.

this look is very different than the first one, probably because this is what lindsey would wear on a spring or summer's night. lindsey says: mint green jeans are my new must haves. I feel like i can pair them with anything, heels, shirts & blouses, but what i love about this outfit is that its so chic and cute! The shoes are a must, love those to death. the opal ring (which i own) is perfect in every which way. the heart sunglasses have been on my wanted list for like ever.

oh my mary! this outfit is on the top and off the hook. this is out of mary's realm but is still a chic look that is fitting for her! mary says: oh my goodness i love this outfit, it is beyond belief. an upward trend this spring is the high low skirt, another one is the color yellow, so it was a must to add this to my outfit. I love the phone case as well, but i will admit that normally i am a kate spade girl, this marc jacobs case is amazing! the earrings and the necklace also complement each other and look stunning off and on, but preferably on!

alanna's look is different than all the looks put together. alanna has more of an edgy style that is also boho chic! alanna says: this outfit is perfect and is something that I would wear on the weekend hanging out or going shopping, maybe even a night out with the gals. printed jeans have been a huge fave of mine for awhile now, and i love to pair jeans with a cute cropped top, elongating my torso. another one of my favorite things is the diy studded phone case, i can't wait to make it for myself. as for shoes, i love to throw on my favorite jeffrey cambell lita's, they're fierce head-turners.

god karen why are you so fashionable? this outfit is soo cute and is surprisingly the only one that contains shorts. karen says: the top is really what sold the outfit to me. if i could i would totally wear this in a heartbeat, the shoes are awesome, even though im more of a nike sneaker girl, i like the bright yellow keds. i also love ripped shorts for the summer, it is so stylish and adds depth to my outfit.

kendra's outfit is definitely our fave. we love the cute boho chic look that is presented, and we also love the colors that is in the outfit. kendra says: the shirt is perfect, it is something that i would defenetly wear. i also love the bracelet and the phone case (it is a nock-off missoni) i  think the shoes are cute too

its all about peplum

the it dress this spring is the peplum dress. the dress is both feminine and flattering. when choosing a peplum dress you have to think about a few things, your body type, your height and of corse your hair color. the peplum dress has been all over the runways and has been blowing up the magazines with color and structure. peplum dresses are easy to spot, but at the same time they are all different, so it could be tricky at times to spot one. now get your butt off to the store, hit the racks and rock the look!

beachy waves

being brunette and having longer thicker hair, i think that my hair styles have to (1) go with the outfit and (2) look nice (3) be unique. i love adding in clips and headbands and elastics as much as any other girl would, but besides the beautiful trending braids, beachy waves are a must this spring and summer! one way that helps me to achieve my perfect look i rely on a few tips and tricks, so sit back, grab those elastics and spray! xx

what i personally do is the night before i fishtale braid my hair and tie it with an elastic. (now the braid does not have to look perfect, but the neater it looks the nicer the waves are) personally, i love using this spray by bumble and bumble to help make this look perfect. personally i do not like the smell of this spray but it works amazingly well! here are some of my favorite celeb looks who rock the beachy wave look!

Colored Jeans

Today I finally snagged a pair of colored jeans that I just love. Right when I laid my eyes upon them I immediately snagged them, claiming the bright orange jeans before my sisters dared to touch them. The fun part about colored jeans in general is that you can keep adding color by pairing them with a bright colored shirt (color blocking) or keep it simple and pair it with a navy or white blouse. Either way, your colored jeans will look absolutely fabulous on you so go ahead a claim your own pair!
